about us

studio-om creates effortlessly comfortable clothing made to fit every body, to be worn, loved, and lived in.

we work closely with a family of skilled artisans in Jaipur, India to produce our small-run collections of unique block-printed organic cottons for Spring/Summer. each print is then lovingly hand-sewn into a made-to-measure garment from our London studio to your wardrobe. We also create our much-loved colour-block patchwork cord collection, for autumn/winter.

for us, slow fashion and sustainability go hand-in-hand. every order is custom-made, and none of our printed fabrics go to waste. Offcuts are repurposed into accessories or sold as scrap bags for craft projects - for the love of print and planet, always.

how it started

studio om was founded from one simple idea - to create clothing that was soft, natural, and beautiful, clothes that felt good on baby-soft skin and were made with care rather than speed.

alice grew up with a special connection to India. childhood trips turned into a lifelong love of printed textiles, and later into winter travels with her partner. Visits always sparked inspiration - the colours, the craft, the people, the prints.

when alice became pregnant with her daughter, she bought a pair of tiny block-printed harems on a trip to rajasthan. They were comfortable, easy, and perfect for cloth nappies. she decided to make more, and realised other like-minded mothers might too.

that small idea became the start of a small brand built around comfortable clothing, natural fibres and Indian block print, om baby was born.

In 2026 alice renamed the brand studio om, marking a natural and timely evolution as her children grew, from a business founded on handmade children’s clothing into a multi-strand creative studio. today, studio om creates apparel for all ages, alongside curating retreats and hosting workshops.
