Caring for your clothes

We work to lower our environmental impact. Our clothes are durable, made with natural fibers and good craftsmanship, mainly organic cotton. We choose low-impact materials. How you wash and care for your clothes also matters.

Wash less — wash consciously

Pay attention to the fabric of your clothes before putting them in the washing machine. Sometimes a simple hand wash is enough to freshen them up without running a full cycle.

Always turn garments inside out before washing them: they will retain their original color longer and suffer less surface abrasion.

Favor low temperatures: they preserve the fibers, limit shrinkage and fading, and reduce wrinkles — which lowers the need for ironing. Washing in cold water also uses less energy.

Eco detergents

Conventional laundry detergents are made with synthetic chemicals, artificial dyes, and fragrances. Eco-friendly alternatives use natural ingredients that are safe and effective—gentler on both the environment and your clothes.

Skip the dryer

Skipping the dryer significantly reduces your carbon footprint and keeps garments in better condition. Tumble-drying increases wear, can cause shrinkage from heat and agitation. We recommend no tumble drying.
