creative workshops

studio om workshops are a natural extension of the way we make, wear, our clothing brand.

rooted in slow fashion, traditional Indian craft, and thoughtful use of materials, our workshops invite people to slow down, get hands-on, and reconnect with making, with each other and with themselves.

our workshops are intentionally accessible and welcoming. They are not about perfection, but about presence, curiosity, and joy. Whether printing a bandana, tee, or experimenting with fabric scraps, each session celebrates craft as something playful to be shared, and enjoyed.

true to our commitment to sustainability, workshops often incorporate fabric offcuts and surplus materials from Studio_Om collections, transforming scraps into something meaningful and new. Nothing is wasted, every scrap is an invitation to make.

from festivals and community spaces to private bookings, brand events, and retreats, Studio_Om workshops create calm, creative spaces where people of all ages and abilities can step away from the rush and into a slower, more mindful way of making.

our values

we value the craft.
Indian block printing: a craft refined over generations. We share it with context, respect, and meaning.

zero waste and earth kind.
We make use of every metre, of every print, every scrap. Because well-crafted items should never go to waste, surplus is simply an invitation to make something else useful and beautiful!

mindful wellbeing led.
Slow craft encourages calm, reduces stress, and supports mental wellbeing. Block printing is relaxing, grounding, and deeply satisfying, a reminder that creativity can be restful, not rushed.

tactile connection.
Our workshops offer a gentle pause from digital life, a chance to work with your hands, focus on the moment, and enjoy the simple rhythm of print, on gentle repeat.

all welcome, always.
No prior experience needed. Our workshops are open to all ages and abilities.

better together.
Our workshops bring people together around shared tables, shared tools, and shared creativity. They foster connection, conversation, and a sense of collective joy in learning something new.

meet alice

Alice Clarkson is the founder of Studio Om and has a long-standing connection to Indian block-printed textiles, shaped by childhood trips to India and years of travelling through Rajasthan. Her love of colour, pattern, and traditional craft has led to close relationships with artisan families in Jaipur, Bagru, and Udaipur, whose hand-carved blocks and printing techniques form the heart of her clothing brand.

Alice is passionate about slow fashion, sustainability, and sharing craft in an accessible, inclusive way. She teaches block printing with respect for its heritage while keeping workshops relaxed, playful, and un-intimidating. With a focus on mindful making, creative reuse of offcuts, and learning through doing, she creates welcoming spaces where people can slow down, connect, and experience the joy of making by hand.

“I was stumped about what to organise for our office Christmas party that hadn’t been done a zillion times before. Alice came in with her bag of blocks and the whole team loved making cards and wrap together.”

“Alice ran the most special workshop for my baby shower. My friend each made organic muslin baby bibs and a bespoke outfit, which was so fun and meaningful to me.”

“Om Studio delivered a workshop for our team for mental wellbeing week and I’ve never seen our office so smiley. Everyone really loved getting hands-on with the blocks.”
